Helping Kids Grow

One of OCCTA’s focus is to create the next generation of junior players in Orange County through Junior Team Tennis and in-
school programs. Not all parents and families have the means and funds for private lessons and academies needed for youths and juniors to excel and elevate their tennis games.

We want to help those families get access to affordable tools and resources to help their kids get a step up as they navigate their tennis journey in juniors, high school and eventually college.

We offer seminars that show and teach coaches, parents, kids, and tennis players.

College Knowledge

Informational seminars on how to get tennis scholarships and
strategies on how to get scouted and recruited by top colleges.



Match Me

We help members set up fun, social matches for singles or doubles
through our database of members and players.

Education Approach

9th Annual City of Irvine Tennis Seminar - This annual seminar is geared towards showing and teaching coaches,
assistant coaches and parents on how to train kids and develop junior players. This all-day event packs quite a punch with teaching demonstrations as well as audience
participations.

Renowned speakers for this venerable event features Mike Gennette, former president of USPTA California division as well as sports performance specialists Dr. Sean Drake, VP and performance director of RacquetFit and OnBaseU. Other contributing speaking guests include Amanda Fink, Ken DeHart, Walid Fattah and UCLA women’s head coach, Stella Sampras.
